Does your touchscreen respond everywhere?

FAQ

How many fingers can a screen recognise?

Most phones and tablets recognise 10 touch points; some touch PCs stop at 2 or 5. The test shows the maximum the device reports and the one you actually reach.

How do I find a dead zone?

Slide your finger over the whole grid: every touched cell gets coloured. A cell that stays empty although you swiped it several times shows an unresponsive zone, often caused by a cracked glass or a lifted screen protector.

Why does pressure stay at 0.5?

Most touchscreens do not measure pressure: the browser then reports a fixed value of 0.5. Only styluses (Apple Pencil, S Pen, Windows pens) send real pressure.
