A key does not light up, what should I do?
Clean under the key (compressed air), check the cable or batteries, try another USB port. Some keys (Fn, media keys) are handled by the keyboard itself and are invisible to the browser.
What are ghosting and rollover?
Rollover (NKRO) is how many keys are recognised at once. Budget keyboards are often limited to 2–6 keys: beyond that some presses are ignored (ghosting). Press several keys together to measure your maximum.
Does the test work with an AZERTY keyboard?
Yes. The test tracks each key’s physical position; in Chrome and Edge, keys also show the characters of your layout (AZERTY, QWERTZ…).
