FAQ
Why is my webcam not showing?
Check that you allowed the camera (icon in the address bar), that no other app (Zoom, Teams, Skype) is using it, and on Windows that access is allowed in Settings › Privacy › Camera. On Mac: Settings › Privacy › Camera.
Why is the resolution lower than expected?
The browser often picks a lower resolution to save bandwidth, or the USB link allows no more. The test asks for the best available resolution and shows the one actually delivered.
What do frames per second mean?
It is how smooth the video is: 30 fps is standard for calls, 60 fps is very smooth. A low number often means poor lighting: the camera then lengthens its exposure time.
