FAQ

What is a good reaction time?

The average is around 250 ms for a visual stimulus. A trained gamer gets to about 180–200 ms, and under 150 ms is exceptional. Fatigue, the screen (refresh rate, game mode) and the mouse add a few tens of milliseconds.

What is processing delay?

It is the time between the moment the system received your click or keystroke and the moment the page handles it. It depends on the browser and the computer’s load. It does not include the mouse or keyboard’s own latency, which a browser cannot measure.

How many clicks per second can you do?

Clicking normally, you reach 6–8 CPS. The “jitter” and “butterfly” techniques used by Minecraft players exceed 10–15 CPS. Above 20 CPS, the mouse is probably sending phantom double-clicks.
